Chris Jones / Mitchell's Journey was awarded the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award under the Obama Administration.

The President's Volunteer Service Award celebrates the impact [people] can make in bettering our communities and our world.

KSL produced a short documentary on Mitchell's Journey which was then awarded a regional emmy for the nature, message and impact of Mitchell's Journey.

Documentary was written and produced by KSL's Candice Madsen.
