A Reminder In Our Conference Room
Prior to Owen's passing, I posted his art in my conference room with the following text:
This art is from a 9-year-old boy who is terminally ill. He is now home on hospice with little time left. Owen attended one of my presentations entitled “Making Moment’s Matter” and to his mother’s surprise, he has talked about that address ever since. If a young boy can understand the intrinsic value of time and making moments count – anyone can.
I stumbled across a quote recently that posed the question: “Are you living or just breathing?” Making moments matter is not only a key to living, but living a life of significance.
I don't want anyone at my office to forget the intrinsic value of life and what it means to live a life of significance.
