The first edition of our children's book, "The Thing About Giving", chronicles Mitchell's encounter with a puppy given to him by his grandfather.  In the narrative, we explore what happens when we give and ask the reader to think of ways they can give to others in ways that are both meaningful and helpful to those around them.  Giving isn't always about handing out things, but rather giving of your time , heart and talents - which gifts often transcend anything we can give others.
